Business Service - Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant Position Summary: Manage all processes involving collections, insurance certificates and credit applications as well as maintain carrier, customer, and broker records.
 
Hours: Hours of Operation Monday through Friday. Hours based on individual level.  Some after hours and weekend work and/or travel may be required
 
Administrative Assistant Duties and Expectations (may include but not limited to):
                               

  1. Accountable for providing GRAND CHAMPION customer service to everyone.
  2. Process insurance certificates
  3. Customer & Broker Records
  4. Collections
  5. Invoicing
  6. Run & complete Unsettled Trip report.
  7. Conduct Inventory and Invoicing for Warehousing
  8. Assure Fuel is updated in McLeod.
  9. Locate loads/invoice & bill of ladings for customers and/or dispatchers.
  10. Process Comchecks
  11. Provide GCCS
  12. Fill out credit applications for vendors.
  13. Data entry
  14. Mail – pick up & deliver mail at post office and mailbox.
  15. Incoming and outbound calls
  16. Filing
  17. Order office supplies
  18. Monthly reports on Transportation & Specialized
  19. Scanning
  20. Supply inventory & picking up supplies.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-College degree or 2-4 years’ work experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
-This position may require some lifting to 20lbs
-With this position you must have a valid drivers license.
-You may be required to obtain additional education if necessary
-Above average communication skills
-Able to multitask and prioritize tasks at hand
-Excellent Customer Service, phone skills & data entry
-A limited amount of travel may be required
-Able to work alone, as well as in a team environment
