Description:
What Would Bri Do (WWBD) dba Bri's Lodge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with nonprofit finance experience to volunteer their time and expertise to support our organization. WWBD is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals and families experiencing grief and loss. In addition to serving as a Volunteer CPA, this individual will also have the opportunity to join the board of directors, contributing to strategic decisions and organizational direction.
 
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Provide guidance on financial planning and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Participate in board meetings and contribute to organizational strategy

Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or previous experience working with nonprofit organizations
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit financial management practices
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting individuals and families experiencing grief and loss

Commitment:
This is a volunteer position with flexible hours. The Volunteer CPA and Board Member will be expected to dedicate approximately 5-10 hours per month to support WWBD's financial management needs and actively participate in board meetings and decision-making processes.
