Wacosa began shred operations in 1988.

Ground breaking fora newfacility will take place on August 23rd @ 4:00 pm at the Annex Building 320 Sundial Drive, Waite Park, MN. Refreshments will be served.

Current facility 1500 sq ft. The new facility will be 6,000 sq ft.

Collective client hours will increase from 44 hours per day to 72 hours per day within a 5 year period. An increase of 60%.

Increases in total shred will move from 590,000 pounds per year to 2,000,000 pounds per year within 5 years.

WACOSA will become NAID certified.NAID is the National Association for Information Destruction and is the international, non-profittrade association of the information destruction industry. Recent Federal Guideline requires virtuallyall businesses in the US to properly manage all consumer and employee information..

Wacosa’s Confidential Shred Service will not only provide document destruction to area businesses but will have a drop off facility so that anyone may bring sensitive papers such as old bank records, tax forms,etc, for disposal.
