Motor Vehicle Sales Tax Luncheon (MVST) 9-7-06

Are you tired of being stuck in traffic?  Are you wondering how much extra you pay for goods and services due to the inefficiencies in ground and air transportation networks?  You can do something about it:  Vote YES November 7th.

 

David Olson, president of the MN Chamber of Commerce will present important information about the amendment.  Our own local business leaders will join him to discuss the importance of passing this amendment, which will dedicate an additional $300 million per year for roads and public transit - without raising any taxes.  It's critical that all voters become educated about the MVST amendment and inform their friends, family and co-workers to vote YES.  Leaving the ballot blank is counted as a no vote. 

 

Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. with lunch at noon.  There is no charge for the meal, thanks to business sponsorship, but please register for lunch by calling the Chamber at 251-2940, ext. 126 by September 5.
