Lunchtime Learning: Live Long and Mentor

Mentoring is a proven approach to drive rich learning and development for both mentees and mentors. However, it can be difficult to know where to start. Tom Schlough will share his insights to expose the value of a mentoring relationship at any stage in your career. This Q & A style class will introduce and explain what mentoring is, how it is done and the benefits for both the person being mentored and the one doing the mentoring. Anyone interested in professional development for themselves or others will find this program especially useful.

Tom Schlough was owner and president of Park Industries for over 40 years, where he is still chair of the Board. He has experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales, customer service, marketing, strategic planning, growing an organization, and attracting and retaining good employees. He is currently a volunteer mentor as a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).
