In our, 7-week session (42-hours course work), you will develop the skills needed to find full or part-time work:

  • In the clinical setting and consulting with a law firm

Employment Law Certificate
 
Employment law is a branch of contract law that deals with relationships between employers and employees. In this accelerated course, you will learn about the National Labor Relations Act, the Railway Labor Act and other statues that deal with public employees.
  • 7-week course
  • 45 hours of course work
  • You must pass all exams with a minimum score of 70 percent
  • Topics include
  • Labor management relations
  • Economic weapons
  • Anti discrimination in employment
  • Minimum wages and maximum hours
  • Regulation of working conditions
 
Victim Advocacy Certificate
 
Our accelerated online program trains and qualifies you to provide assistance to crime victims. You will acquire skills for work in advocacy positions in domestic violence shelters, crisis centers, crisis hotlines, and state and county victim assistance programs in the criminal justice system.

  • 50 hours of course work
  • You must pass two exams with a minimum score of 70 percent
