Government Affairs Meeting 10/13/17

The Government Affairs Division of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business people and volunteers who have a passion for issues and activities at all levels of government.  Locally, statewide, and nationally, they serve as advocates for all Chamber members.  Join us at our regular meetings on the second Friday of the month at 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Topics are different each month.  Any Chamber member with interest in government is welcome to attend.  Registration is required for this meeting. Topic: The Future of Work in the 4th Industrial Revolution
 
Governor Pawlenty will speak about preparing Minnesota for the profound changes the next wave of technology will trigger as Artificial Intelligence and other advanced technologies will dramatically increase automation in almost every business sector and profession.  He will describe how those changes will increase speed, precision and productivity but also the nature of education, training, and work itself.
