Government Affairs Committee Meeting

The Chamber names legislative advocacy as a key part of its mission. Each year the Government Affairs Committee takes part in sessions with local and state officials, meets with legislators, and hosts regular candidate and legislative forums.

This year the Government Affairs Committee has played an active role in debating issues such as the local option sales tax, Civic Center expansion, and transportation, including funding for roads and bridges, the Northstar Corridor and St. Cloud Regional Airport expansion.

We encourage members to take advantage of the many ways in which they can share in important policy-making decisions. The Government Affairs Committee meets at the Chamber on the second Friday of every month from 7:45-9 a.m.
