Commissioner of Education Alice Seagren - 4/28/09

Commissioner of Education Ms. Alice Seagren will speak at noon April 28, 2009 at the Radisson Suite Hotel.  Commissioner Seagren will discuss the importance of Minnesota Education in building a workforce for the 21st Century.  In addition, she will discuss the Governor's Education proposals: the Teacher Transformation Act, pay for performance, shared services and the Summer of Success.  Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. for those who pre-register.  Rotary members and guests should register through the Rotary Club.  Chamber members can register and pay by credit card online, by calling the Chamber registration line, (320) 251-2940, ext. 126, or by calling Sharon Henry at (320) 656-3824.  Please note: Non-Chamber members attending must pre-pay.
