DESCRIPTION:AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is assisting the AARP Tax Program in recruiting volunteer tax counselors for the upcoming season. Every year people in need are turned away because there aren't enough volunteers. Please consider volunteering or spreading the word!\n\n \n\nVolunteer Tax Counselors Needed\n\nEvery tax season\, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers serve their communities by helping their neighbors complete and file their tax returns. Tax-Aide volunteers receive training and support\, learn new skills\, and connect with people in our community while helping others.\n\n \n\nVolunteers are needed to prepare taxes at the Whitney Senior Center and Sartell Community Center between January and August. If you are computer literate and have good communication skills\, please consider being part of this important community program. Training happens the second week of January.
