DESCRIPTION:Congratulations to Ray Schlichting\, 2012 Sauk Rapids Citizen of the Year!  Ray is a volunteer who has worked with 24 organizations.  He has been active in the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) since 2002 and has given 1\,635 hours of service in the past 10 years.  Schlichting has assisted at Good Shepherd Community\, Benton County Emergency Management\, Benton County Parks Department Amnesty Day\, City of Sauk Rapids Clean Sweep Week and all of the Sauk Rapids-Rice schools.\n\nA luncheon honoring Ray and all nominees will be held April 26 at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.  The event is open to the public and costs $15. Registrations with names and payment can be mailed to St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce\, 110 South 6th Ave.\, St. Cloud\, 56301\; by calling 320-251-2940\, extension 126\;  or at www.SaukRapidsChamber.com and click on the Sauk Rapids Citizen of the Year Registration.
