SUMMARY:Government Affairs Meeting - Candidate Forum
DESCRIPTION:The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum for the Minnesota House District 14A seat vacated by state Rep. Steve Gottwalt earlier this year.  Democrat Joanne Dorsher\, Republican Tama Theis\, and Independence Party Todd McKee will answer questions as they relate to the business community and the economy.  The forum is free and open to the public.  The special election to fill the open seat is Tuesday\, February 12\, 2013.  Registrations are requested by calling Sharon Henry at 320-656-3824.  Parking is available on the street or in the parking ramp.\n\nThe Government Affairs Division of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business people and volunteers who have a passion for issues and activities at all levels of government.  Locally\, statewide\, and nationally\, they serve as advocates for all Chamber members.  Join us at our regular meetings on the second Friday of the month at 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.  Topics are different each month.  Any Chamber member with interest in government is welcome to attend.  No registration is necessary for the regular Friday meetings.
