DESCRIPTION:This conference is a chance for community leaders and citizens from all sectors - business\, health\, industrial\, agricultural\, higher education\, government - to learn more about the value of the industry and to identify resources and opportunities for developing bioscience businesses in Minnesota.  Presentations and panel discussions will be made by the hosting organizations and area business\, education and civic representatives involved in advancing biosciences in the region.  Governor Tim Pawlenty\, a leading supporter of biosciences in Minnesota\, will provide the keynote address at a luncheon following the conference.  Hosting organizations are Science Initiative of Central Minnesota\, The BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota and Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics (University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic).  The cost of the full conference is $35.00\, and the cost for the lunch only is $15.00.  Please call the Chamber for reservations.
