DESCRIPTION:Great Scott! The British are coming! Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota will be hosting the 30th Annual Summer Benefit\, “British Invasion” – to celebrate the important programs we provide to young people. This year’s event will be held on August 9\, 2012 at the River’s Edge Convention Center (formerly the St. Cloud Civic Center) from 5:30 – 9 p.m. \n\nMore than 800 people from the St. Cloud business community attend this very important event each year to tap their feet to a familiar tune\, sample signature recipes from local culinary artists\, and to take part in some fantastic shopping at the area’s largest silent auction. This year\, The Fabulous Armadillos will be helping people shake their groove thing on the dance floor with songs like “I Want to Hold Your Hand\,” and “My Generation.”But the best part of this event is that everyone leaves knowing they somehow made a difference in children’s lives.
