The Civil Mediation Training is a comprehensive experiential training course that teaches participants to skillfully facilitate conversations between people in conflict in order to assist them in reaching creative, mutually-satisfactory outcomes.
In Mediation Training you will:
Learn skills to remain neutral in challenging situations
Learn to reframe destructive communication into productive communication.
Help individuals in conflict reach creative, mutually-satisfactory outcomes
Understand conflict styles, become an active listener, manage impasse, and identify power imbalances.
Work out solutions to everyday conflicts in your personal and work life. (Your employer may pay for mediation training)
Become a qualified neutral under Minnesota law.
Qualifies for Professional Credits:
30 Alternative Dispute Resolution Credits (ADR); includes 2 Ethics Credits
26 Standard Continuing Legal Education Credits (CLE); includes 2 Ethics Credits and 2 Elimination of Bias Credits
